Project Overview


Proposed project is an online supplier web portal. Web EDI is a web-based EDI subscription service that provides users with an easy-to-use and cost effective solution for processing EDI documents using a web browser and Internet connection.This web portal can be used by customers and their suppliers for supply-chain management activities such as maintain purchase order details,forecasting and report generations,etc.

  •    Identification of common issues related to customers and suppliers.
  •    Indenification of benefits in existing supplier portals.

      Provide a reliable and efficient supply-chain management mechanism for buyers and their   suppliers via Web EDI.

                   I.       Suppliers can Download and Maintain Purchase Orders (POs) via Web EDI.
 
a)      Create functions to download company information such as
-          Message to each supplier
-          Company firm orders
-          Monthly forecast (3,6)
b)      Create functions to maintain Purchase Order  Line status
-          Suppliers can view Outstanding PO
-          Change PO Due Date by supplier
-          Split PO Line via Web EDI
c)      Create functions for suppliers to prepare documents for Shipment
-          Print Picking List and Label from Web EDI
-          Adjust Weight
-          Create and Print Delivery Notes
d)     Create functions to view History
-          Messages
-          Forecasts
-          Firm Orders
e)      Create functions for Administrator to maintain Web EDI
-          Create , Delete Web EDI users
-          Assign Security
-     Manage the old messages,firm orders and forecasts
